This year I will enter my 14th year as a member of the West Ashley High School faculty and 3rd as an Assistant Principal. It is a sincere pleasure to work in an environment where teachers and staff are committed to building positive relationships and assisting students with academic and social growth. I look forward to another year of supporting the efforts of our students and families to reach their educational goals.
I am originally from Warren, Pennsylvania and completed a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. Not being a fan of colder weather, my goal after graduation was to move south and so I began my career teaching all levels of Spanish in Lake City, South Carolina. In 2000, I made Charleston my home and have since earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the Citadel.
During my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and working with my jewelry design business.
