1st Day of School Information
We are thrilled to welcome our Wildcats back to campus tomorrow! Whether your student is joining us for the very first time or returning as an upperclassman, our faculty and staff are ready to support them for a strong start to the school year.
Please use this page as your quick reference guide for Day 1 schedules, arrival procedures, traffic routes, and operational details.
📍Day 1 Priority: Finding Your PACK Room
For the entire first week (August 11th–15th), all students will follow a special morning schedule starting in PACK. Full student schedules are live in PowerSchool, but the most important detail for tomorrow morning is identifying your student's PACK teacher and room number.
How to Find Your PACK Teacher:

Log into the PowerSchool Parent or Student Portal.

Look for the course titled “Global Leadership Community Engagement” (this is the course code for PACK).

Note the teacher’s name and room number.
What Happens in PACK: All students report straight to their PACK classroom at 8:45 AM.
During PACK, students will receive a printed schedule. We will be issuing student IDs and Chromebooks throughout the week. The focus of the next several days will be supporting our students' transition into this new school year and understanding their schedules.
Chromebook Returns & Distribution

Summer School Devices: If your student kept a school Chromebook and charger from summer school, please send both items back tomorrow.

Exchanges: Summer devices will be turned in and swapped for a new Chromebook during PACK. Students do not need to go to the Media Center unless called down.
Arrival & Pick-Up
- Campus gates open and car drop-off begins at 8:00. Please review the attached traffic progression plan for this school year. The cafeteria and breezeway area will be open at this time.
- Please plan for heavier traffic and longer wait times during the first few weeks as the community adjusts to new start times and back-to-school travel patterns.
- Our "Grab-N-Go" cafeteria in the main building will open next week.
- Main Building Doors Open at 8:15 for students to enter campus.
- Official Start Time: Students need to be in their PACK classes before the 8:45 tardy bell.
- Dismissal: School ends at 3:55. Please review the traffic progression for dismissal.
Late-In & Early-Out Students

Late-In Students: All Late-In students must report to PACK at 8:45 for the first 5 days of school. Late-In privileges will not apply during Week 1. If you have ILT immediately following PACK, you will report to your designated ILT space and scan in.

Early-Out Students: You may follow your regular schedule starting Day 1. All Early-Out students must exit through the front vestibule and scan their PowerSchool ID badge when leaving.

Additional information regarding Late-In and Early-Out procedures will be shared during PACK tomorrow and throughout this week with impacted students.
Student Parking & Transportation

Student Parking: Student drivers must park exclusively in the student parking lot area. Parking permits will be distributed this week. Coach King will follow up directly with students who have already purchased a pass. Passes are still available for purchase on the website under the Pay Fees tab.

Bus Transportation: All bus routes, schedules, and route inquiries are managed directly by the district transportation department.
