2026-2027 Back-to-School

We hope that you and your family are having a relaxing and enjoyable summer! Whether you are a returning student or joining the Wildcat family for the very first time, we are thrilled to welcome you for another great school year. While there is still plenty of summer left to enjoy, we want to share this centralized hub for all upcoming events, critical tasks, and important back-to-school updates so your family can begin preparing.

Upcoming Summer Dates:

• Freshman Orientation: Tuesday, July 28th from 9:00am-12:15pm

• Registration, Fact & Fee Sessions: Tuesday, July 28th from 10:00am-4:00pm & Thursday, July 30th from 3:00-6:00pm
  • Make-up session: Wednesday, August 5th from 9:00-11:00am
• 1st Day of School: Tuesday, August 11th

Registration, Fact & Fee Session Information:

This is your one-stop shop for back-to-school preparation. Families are welcome to attend either session at any time during the scheduled hours. During the sessions, students will receive their Chromebook (registration must be complete), have their student ID photo taken, receive information about accessing student schedules and the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Families will also have the opportunity to pay school and course fees, update paperwork, and learn more about all of the things that make West Ashley an "Excellent" place to be! Translation services will be available at both sessions for families in need of assistance. 

Families who are new to West Ashley are invited to attend an optional "New to WAHS Information Session" on Thursday, July 30th, at 5:00pm in our Auditorium. This session is open to all families new to WAHS, regardless of grade level, and is a great opportunity to learn more about the upcoming school year and ask questions before it begins.

All student fees are now available in RevTrak!

Families are encouraged to review and complete applicable fees before attending Registration, Fact & Fee next week! Fees may include Student Activity, PTSO Membership, Parking Permits, Senior Fees, Group Fees, and other applicable student fees. Families who prefer to pay in person may do so during Registration, Fact & Fee. Cash payments will be accepted at Registration. If you have questions about your student's fees or payment options:

VirtualSC Summer Students

VirtualSC Summer Exams must be completed on campus on Wednesday, July 29th and Thursday, July 30th. Exams will begin at 8:00am. Additional information will be communicated to students through their CCSD Student Email.

Beginning this school year, our school day will run from 8:45am-3:55pm. Click here for our updated bell schedule.

• WAHS Summer Hours: Monday-Thursday from 8:00am-4:00pm. CCSD Registration support is available in our Counseling office from 8:00am-2:00pm.
