About Mrs. Nettles
I have lived in Charleston over half of my life.  I attended West Ashley High for a portion of my high school career. It's really great to be at WAHS. I received my undergraduate degree from Anderson University in the areas of elementary education and special education.  In 2017, I completed my Master's Degree in educational administration and supervision from the University of South Carolina.

Last year, I completed my seventh year of teaching.  I have taught students with disabilities at West Ashley High for six years.  My passions are teaching students communication skills and daily living skills that they will carry with them throughout their lives. It is a pleasure to get to know my students and families very well, and I enjoy being a small part of my students' lives.

I live in the West Ashley area with my wonderful husband (who I met at WAHS 13 years ago) and our 2 children. We are very active in the West Ashley community and want to make West Ashley a great place to work, live, and play!

Please do not hesitate to e-mail me at amanda_nettles@charleston.k12.sc.us or by phone 843-573-1201 ext.  My classroom is located in the 200 hallway, room 213.

It will be an unforgettable year for this class of Wildcats!
